CRÍA CUERVOS is an initiative co-created & self-funded by Costa Rican bassist and photographer KENNETH JIMENEZ together with Cuban  saxophonist and painter HERY PAZ to curate bold, diverse and independent  creative music in NYC. We count with the support of ACADEMY RECORDS ANNEX in Greenpoint, (242 Banker Street) which offered their space for hosting our concert series (now exceeding 24 performances to date) with the participation of some of New York's finest improvising musicians including: Dave Liebman, Wendy Eisenberg, Randy Peterson, Joe Morris, Cecilia Lopez, Brandon Lopez, Gabby Fluke-Mogul, Tom Rainey, Ingrid Laubrock, Christopher Hoffman, Juan Pablo Carletti, Daniel Prim, Sana Nagano, Michaël Attias, John Hebert, Isabel Crespo, Lester St. Louis, Henry Fraser, Kenny Warren, Choko Nagai, Satoshi Takeishi, Sean Ali, Flinn van Hemmen, Willy Rodriguez, Yoon Sun Choi, Román Díaz, Jonathan Finlayson, Josh Sinton, Ken Filiano, Zosha Warpeha,  Sean Conly, Caleb Curtis, Devin Gray, Santiago Leibson & Carlo Costa...
